Binaural Beats for Chakra Balancing

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

You know the feeling of being a little “out of balance”, slightly “off the mark”, or “unsettled and flighty”. People often use these expressions when events in their lives are not going as smoothly as they might like. These symptoms are often indicators that the body’s chakra system is out of balance. The use of binaural beats for natural chakra balancing helps put the energy body back in balance. Generations of cultural healers have relied on the practice of meditation to increase the body’s ability to heal itself. Although the western cultures have taken longer to embrace meditation and related methods of chakra balancing, these practices are universally accepted. Even though the theory of binaural beats was first discovered in nearly two hundred years ago it took more than one hundred years before science recognized and published the results of using binaural beats and gave new life to the practice.

A Short Course in Chakra Balancing

The chakra system refers to the seven main energy centers within the human body. Chakra teachings go back thousands of years originating with holy men of ancient India. In the Western world chakra balancing and healing is still relatively new. With an upsurge in interest in holistic healing and metaphysical teachings, many methods of chakra balancing are in practice today. Among the many widely accepted methods used in balancing the human energy fields is a process using meditation and binaural beats.

A Short Course in Binaural Beats

Binaural beats stimulate auditory responses within the human brain. Two frequencies, which differ by less than 30 Hz, are delivered to the auditory senses producing a third frequency that is the difference between the two tones. For example, through the use of headphones, the right ear receives a sound frequency of 500 Hz, at the same time the left ear receives a frequency of 510 Hz. This leaves a difference of 10 Hz. That difference becomes the binaural beat frequency. There are many frequency vibrations within each classification. Below are examples of what happens at each classification of binaural beats frequency range.

Human Body Reactions at 4 Frequency Levels

Beta wave frequencies are between 13 to 40 Hz and the body reacts in active, busy or anxious states of consciousness.

Alpha wave frequencies of 7 to 13 Hz allow a person to settle into a state of relaxation while remaining awake. Ultra learning tendencies and positive thinking are another benefit of binaural beats used at this frequency.

Theta wave frequencies range between 4 to 7 Hz and deep meditation, hypnosis and dreaming occur at this level.

Delta wave frequencies of less than 4 Hz produce a result of deep dreamless sleep.

Combining Binaural Beats and Chakra Balancing

Chakra balancing using binaural beats helps to unblock the chakras and leaves the recipient feeling renewed, relaxed and refreshed. This technique helps to reduce fatigue and alleviate tension. Lay or sit in a comfortable meditative position, place headphones on and listen as gentle sounds allow the relaxation process to begin. As the chakras are cleared you may feel a sense of release. This may come as a feeling of warmth, heaviness, uplift, or even tingling sensations. Chakra balancing using binaural beats is a safe and gentle relaxation method appropriate for all ages. All seven of the chakras may be cleared, beginning at the Root, or base chakra and working up through the individual energy centers and finally reaching a spiritual connection through the Crown chakra. The use of binaural beats for chakra clearing does not feel as though a shock wave occurred; rather it provides a subtle sense of deep inner change as the energy fields resume their natural harmonic flow. Generally, the mood shifts to an elevated state, giving a feeling of a more creative, renewed, happier, refreshed and relaxed self.

Binaural beat recordings are perfectly safe for use at any time. Employ as needed for relaxation, stress reduction, insomnia, and chakra balancing to improve focus and promote the overall feeling of being at peace within one’s own body. Using binaural beats for chakra balancing helps promote a long and healthy life.

Binaural Beats

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

As the vibrations from the air are translated into your interaction with the world of sound in your brain, many tricks can be played along this pathway, including the sort of perceptual filtering that causes you not to listen intently to the background noise of a fan until somebody points it out to you! When Heinrich Wilhelm Dove played two distinct tones at the same time that were very close to each other in frequency in 1839, he noticed that the human brain will perceive a throbbing beat, even though no beat is actually being played by the instrument! It wasn’t until 1975 that Robert Monroe first discovered that a beat of 4 Hz could induce an out-of-body experience that binary beats found a purpose in changing states of consciousness during meditation.

Our brain waves have their own natural frequency. When we’re in a state of heightened brain activity, such as a brain surgeon performing a delicate maneuver, or a high school student taking a driver’s test, our brain’s Gamma waves zing along at 40 Hz or more! Most of your busy work day is probably in the Beta range of 13 to 40 Hz, while if you relax before bed with a warm beverage your brain may drop to the 7 to 13 Hz Alpha waves. As you drift into your dreams in bed, your Theta waves are 4 – 7 Hz, while your deepest Delta sleep state sinks below 4 Hz.

The perceived frequency of these beats actually causes your brain waves to mimic and match them in a process called frequency following, just as a child might naturally mimic his or her parent. Over time, you can get your brain familiar with these stages with brain entrainment using binaural beats until you have the control to do it yourself!

For example, if you were to listen to a binaural beat that you perceived to be of a frequency above 40 Hz, your brain waves would automatically scramble to keep up, and you’d find yourself energized and alert! If you then got tired of being jumpy and wanted to calm down, you could simply play binaural beats that you perceived to be at a frequency lower than 13 Hz. Your brain waves would smooth out and settle down, allowing you to drift quietly into a calm and meditative state free of the rushing thoughts of your work day.

Crown Chakra

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

The Crown Chakra is associated with the top of the head. This Chakra is often associated with the emotions of spirituality and bliss. The Crown Chakra is often considered the energy center for all higher spirituality functions. It is here that spiritual growth takes place.

The psychological attributes that are associated with the Crown Chakra is Wisdom, Inspiration and Awareness of the Higher Self. Also commonly associated with this area are Meditation and Vision Perception. It is here that meditation begins and if used properly, processed throughout the whole system the Crown Chakra is the gateway between body and soul and the energy in-between.

The color of the Crown Chakra is Violet. Sometimes white is used to represent this Chakra but not very often. The Sanskrit name for the charka is Sahasrara. The symbol of the Crown Chakra is often shown as a violet flame. This flame represents our need to burn away all the negative energy that fills us and allow the positive, pure energy to flow into our physical bodies as well as our spiritual ones.

The Crown Chakra is the portal of energy to the six other charkas. If the crown charka suffers from blockage (negative energy) the rest of the body and spirit will suffer. It is believed that by “opening” this area to enlightenment the rest of the body will benefit as well.

Body parts associated with the Crown Chakra are: all parts of the brain, the nervous system, pituitary functions and hair growth. Also associated with this Chakra is the Pineal Gland. It is here, in the Crown Chakra, that the most important functions of your physical body take place. This is also the place where the most important functions of your spiritual well being takes place.

Often considered a result of blocked energy flow to the Crown Chakra, depression and other mental illnesses are associated with this area. Lymphatic problems, skin rashes, vein or blood vessel issues and even senility can be attributed to the lack of energy flow to the Crown Chakra.

By aligning your Crown Chakra you can begin to embark on a healing process for your body and spirit. You will embark on the path to enlightenment as well as free yourself from the burdens of negative energy. By working to enhance our Crown Chakra we in effect enhance each of the other remaining six charkas. Improving the flow of positive, pure energy into your consciousness will be a lifelong practice with wondrous results.

Third Eye Chakra

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

The brow chakra, or sixth chakra, is located on the center of the forehead just above the eyebrows. This chakra is also known as the third-eye chakra and its sanskrit name is Ajna.

Indigo is the color that is most often associated with the brow or third-eye chakra. It is symbolized by a two petaled lotus.

The brow chakra is most commonly associated with intuition. When the brow chakra is well balanced, the result is an increased ability to tap into inner wisdom and knowing. It can also open the door for greater intuition, psychic abilities, and clairvoyance. Other advantages to having a well balanced brow chakra include better memory, increased understanding, greater imagination, and the the ability to more easily overcome personal fears.

All seven major chakras correspond with different glands and parts of the body. The brow chakra is associated with the Pituitary gland, which controls the release of hormones as well as growth, blood pressure, thyroid function, and the bodies ability to regulate its temperature.

The brow chakra is mainly associated with the brain and upper body. It influences the ears, eyes, and nose, as well as the sinuses. The brow chakra is associated with the Autonomic Nervous System, the Forebrain, and the Cerebellum.

Whereas the brow chakra’s main function is tuning into intuition and inner wisdom, it also highly influences the body’s energy field or aura. The aura is the field of energy that surrounds the body and can be seen as color around the body by some intuitive individuals and psychics. This field can be sensed, many times unknowingly, by other people, and can often influence how a person is percieved by others.

It is important to maintain a healthy balance of the brow chakra, as well as the other six major chakras. If the brow chakra is not properly balanced, it can result in headaches, problems with the associated body parts, trouble sleeping, and various mental imbalances. Often, people that have too much energy in the brow chakra will appear spacey or lack focus on the world around them.

It is important for people who wish to develop psychic and intuitive abilities to keep the brow chakra clear and balanced. There are countless resources available to learn how to balance the brow chakra, as well as the other six chakras. Meditation is commonly used when working to balance the brow chakra.

The brow chakra, as well as the other six chakras, are also used by energy healers and Reiki practioners to heal the body.

Heart Chakra

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

The Heart Chakra also known as Anahata, is one of the seven main Chakras that direct the flow of energy throughout our bodies. This electromagnetic energy that some refer to as the Aura can affect our well being. When our electromagnetic field is off balance we can become ill both physically and emotionally.

The Heart Chakra is located in the center of the chest behind the breast bone and in-between the shoulder blades. It is represented by the color green. Not only is the Heart Chakra responsible for the heart, circulatory, and respiratory system, it also governs many psychological functions. These include such things as: self control, love, compassion, forgiveness, fear, grief, pain and heartache.

The Heart Chakra affects our emotions of balance, self control and love. When the Heart Chakra is in balance our sense of harmony and peace within our self and within our relationships with others are strong. We feel relaxed, our sense of compassion, generosity, and love are well balanced. When the Heart Chakra is out of balanced, the feelings of paranoia and the unworthiness of love can occur. An increase in negative emotions such as bitterness, jealousy, and indifference to others can occur. A person with an unbalanced Heart Chakra can also have physical illnesses that are related to the heart: high blood pressure, difficulty breathing, chest and muscle pains and even a potential heart attack and cancer.

The Heart Chakra is related to the Thymus gland, which is the gland in our body that helps to control our immune systems. Since our hearts and immune systems are central components of health, it is important to maintain the Heart Chakra’s balance.

Remember that there are seven main Chakras and that each of these Chakras should be in balance in order to complete our circle of energy. Since each Chakra is related to the function of an internal body system it is important to understand the underlying cause of why our Chakras are out of balance.

There are several suggestions to help maintain or allow the Heart Chakra to come back into balance. Meditation, breathing techniques, choosing the correct colors for your house, and even crystal can be used to help maintain a balanced Heart Chakra.

When you begin your meditation, use a rose quartz in the hand you use most. Take deep breathes, taking in the energy from all around you. Let the air flow through every cell of your body. Continue until you have begun to relax.

Sacral Chakra

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

The sacral, or spleen, chakra is located in the lower abdominal area. Its color is orange, and it is known as Svadhisthana in Sanskrit. It is symbolized by a six petaled lotus.

The sacral chakra deals heavily with emotions and feelings. It also deals with creativity, intimacy, freedom, sensuality, and procreation. A healthy, balanced sacral chakra is essential to maintaining an emotionally balanced life.

The sacral or spleen chakra is associated with the gonads and the male and female reproductive system. In addition to the reproductive organs, the sacral chakra is also associated with the urinary tract, gallbladder, skin, spleen, and kidneys. It charges the energy field around the body known as the aura or etheric body.

Since the sacral chakra, as well as the other six major chakras, directly influences many of the body’s major organs, imbalance of this chakra may cause illness and health problems. Because of the sacral chakra’s connection to the reproductive system, women who do not have a blanced sacral chakra may find it difficult to conceive and bear children. It may also lead to a whole host of problems associated with the ovaries and uterus. Imbalance of this chakra in men may cause impotence.

Since the sacral chakra highly influences the emotions, an imbalance can cause many psychological disorders, emotional disorders, and addictions. Individuals who have an imbalanced sacral chakra may develop eating disorders or depression. An imbalance in the sacral chakra may also trigger addiction to drugs or alcohol.

An individual who has a balanced and healthy sacral chakra may be seen as highly passionate and creative. They will easily be able to see the beauty in the world around them, and will be able to easily see the positive side of the people around them.

People with an over-energized sacral chakra may appear reckless or hedonistic at times, as these individuals will constantly be focused on pleasure and fulfilling their desires.

Those who have an under-energized sacral chakra may appear stagnant and unwilling to pursue creative endeavors. These individuals often block or feel unworthy of having any desires. They may also avoid activities that they previously took pleasure in.

In order to maintain a healthy and fulfilling life and live up to one’s full potential, it is important to have all seven of the major chakras well-balanced. Meditation is one of the most effective tools for checking the chakras for imbalances, as well as rebalancing the chakras. Simply going into a medatative state and picturing each individual chakra being cleansed by white light can help to keep the chakras healthy and balanced.

Root Chakra

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

As the foundation for all of the chakras, the root chakra takes its stability from the earth. The building trades recognize that a strong foundation connected to the earth is necessary to keep a building from collapse. The same holds true with the chakra system. It is easier to feel secure when the base is stable. Located in the area of the coccyx between the perineum and the anus, the root chakra allows for personal life energy, known as chi, to enter from the earth and flow through the body. When energy is flowing freely through this chakra, people find they are full of energy. They also evoke a great passion for life. The lotus flower with four petals and the color red are symbols of this chakras’ life energy. Passion and strength are associated with the base chakra. Often an elephant, bull or ox depicts the first chakra as a reminder that this energy center is one of strength and stability. Feelings of trust and security are the result of a strong root chakra, while apathy and lack of trust may indicate an imbalance in this area. There are many methods to strengthen the first chakra. Affirmations repeated while looking in a mirror are particularly helpful when bringing power to the base area.

First Chakra Basics

  • The First chakra is called the Root (or base) Chakra and its Sanskrit name is Muladhara
  • Building the foundation for all the chakras, the root chakra is located in the vicinity of the base of the spine in the area near the perineum
  • The color associated with the root chakra is red
  • Life energy, passion and strength are represented by the root chakra
  • A sensation of connectedness to the earth and feelings of trust, stability and security are associated with the first chakra
  • There is a close connection between the root chakra and the adrenal and suprarenal glands, teeth and nails, and reproductive organs
  • Closely associated with the spine, legs and feet this chakra allows circulation of Chi or life force energy
  • When the root chakra is out of balance common physical indicators often include constipation or diarrhea, bladder infections, back pain, and bone diseases
  • Represented by a four petal lotus the shape associated with the 1st chakra is square
  • Gemstones representing the base chakra are ruby, hematite and garnet
  • Aromatic essential oils which relate to the base chakra are clove, rosemary, cypress and cedarwood
  • The element of the root chakra is the earth

Part IV: Third Eye and Crown Chakra

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

Here at Binaural Chakra Balancing we want give you every opportunity to come away with knowledge that is both profound and practical. That’s why we give you samplings of a variety of different spiritual modalities. Sometimes these modalities are ancient and, although proven, take some time to see results. But sometimes we can offer you information like the tutorial below. Information that combines the ancient knowledge with modern technology. This blending can be powerful and help to quicken the spiritual process. It can help us understand the teachings through experiencing them ourselves quickly. Not in another life, not through years of solitary retreat- but in the here and now. We hope that you enjoy!

(editors note: I have personally used the binaural beat recordings talked about below for years, including while on my 1 year meditation retreat. I’m continually impressed.)

These lessons are greatly enhanced by the Ultimate Chakra Package which contains 7  Binaural Beat recordings to stimulate each Chakra individually.

For the conclusion of our Chakra Balancing Series we will be focusing on the final two Chakras, the Third Eye Chakra (also called Brow Chakra) and the Crown Chakra. These two represent the majority of interest in Chakra Balancing. We will get into their significant attributes in a moment but, remember that the chakras are all connected and energy runs through all of them. If there is a blockage somewhere then they are all effected. So even though its tempting to just focus on the Crown and Third Eye Chakras because of their astonishing attributes, try not to neglect the others.

The Third Eye Chakra

Are you a famous Psychic? If not you can be, and this can happen fast. Mental telepathy, clairvoyance, remote-viewing, ability to view auras, all of these are not super natural, they are actually super normal. The problem is that our Third Eye Chakra is not open, it’s out of balance. We must use  Chakra Balancing techniques to right it, and when we do, these things are naturally there already. In reality it’s not so much a cultivation process as it is an uncovering process.

The Crown Chakra

The pinnacle of Chakra Balancing success is to have a fully open Crown Chakra (with the other Chakras in balance of course). Full omniscience of past, present, and future, full enlightenment, Buddhahood, Christ Consciousness, Nirvana, bliss…the list goes on and on. When the “thousand petaled lotus” has reached  full bloom, unending serenity is granted. Saints and sages have poured out their experiences of awakening for centuries and it’s still beautiful to hear.

Exercise:

The most powerful way to start all sessions is have the proper motivation, which is an altruistic intention. Something like “May this meditation ultimately lead myself and all beings to the awakened state of eternal happiness”, or something similar in your own words. This automatically ignites love and compassion, the highest energy in the universe.

What the Third eye and Crown Chakras have to offer is absolutely extraordinary and therefore I highly recommend The Ultimate Chakra package from Brainwave entertainment for this lesson. The recordings are instantly downloadable MP3’s usings Binaural Beats. Without getting into the technical aspects, suffice to say Binaural Beats are literally Meditation Magic. Our brain fluctuates between different frequencies, Beta- High attention, Alpha- Mild Meditation, Theta- Deep Meditation (the place where miracles happen), Delta- Deep Sleep. Binaural Beats put you in the these states automatically, safely, and  without subliminal messages. In addition the specific recording offered by Brainwave Entertainment are set to the frequency of each Chakra. The combined power of being in Theta with the frequency of lets say, the Crown Chakra, being stimulated simultaneously is simply something that only sages have been able to experience until now. The truth is normal methods have been around for centuries and the results talked about by the Sages are very rare to say the least. If humanity as whole is going to go anywhere we need to have a major shift. Tools like this are going to help this process. Thanks for hearing me out….lets get started.

The Third Eye Chakra Balancing

Begin with parts I – III , until the energy is brought up to the Third Eye Chakra, located between the eyebrows. Now for the Chakra Balancing, visualize a closed door or a misty fog is in front of your Third Eye Chakra. Now visualize a light coming from your Third Eye Chakra and this light is like a spear, and it pierces through the fog or “opens” the door. Beyond the door or mist is absolute clarity. Do not expect to see anything or have an experience, thats a sure way not to have one. Just be. Just rest in clarity. The key is to go back and forth with this visualization. Keep visualizing opening the door or piercing the mist with only the light of your Third Eye Chakra. This exercise is held in high regard as an advanced psychic development technique and the masters claim it is the secret origin of the unicorn legend. It also has the ability to stabilize our Third Eye Chakra in its natural open state. Do not be thrown off because of it’s simplicity, practice yourself and see what follows!

The Crown Chakra Balancing

Now move your awareness up towards the Crown Chakra, located just above the top of our heads. We are now at the seat of our true nature. No longer limited by the physical we reside is the vast expanse. To perform the Chakra Balancing,  take the energy all the way from the Root Chakra, up through all the centers until it reaches the Crown. Then visualize the Crown Chakra (again, located a few inches above the crown of the head) like a energetic water ballon, about the size of a softball, filled with Violet light. When the energy or light from the Root Chakra reaches the “ballon” it pierce it and in doing so releases the violet light and this violet light descends back down, all the way back  to the Root Chakra. This light is incredibly powerful and can lead to tremendous spiritual experiences as it clears all the Chakras. For beginners you do not need to worry about your breath, although advanced practitioners can bring the energy up on the inhalation, pause and visualize the piercing of the ballon, then bring the light back down on the exhalation. This will be a good time to say that if you practice consistently and start to have many experiences I highly recommend finding a qualified teacher with a strong unbroken lineage.

To end the session you can ask that by the positive merit of this meditation may all beings be lead to the ultimate awakening of eternal happiness or another blessing that fits you.

This concludes the Chakra Balancing Series and I thank  you for your sincere wish for spiritual unfoldment, may you inspire all beings to do the same!

Part III: Heart and Throat Chakra

Next up is the Throat and Heart Chakras. We have gone over how to energize the Root Chakra and bring that energy up to the Sacral and Solar Plexus  Chakras. Now it is time for Chakra Balancing on the Heart and and Throat Chakras.

The Heart Chakra is located in the center of the chest and is associated with the colors green and pink. Unconditional love, compassion, tenderness, and complex emotins are linked to the mighty Heart Chakra. We are now reaching into the Chakras known for their spiritual transformation ability. Although Chakra Balancing is just that, balancing all the chakras as they are dependent upon each other, one cannot ignore the positive power of the higher Chakras. As humanity reaches further into love, further into peace and further into our own true nature the Heart Chakra will begin to take center stage and so will planetary good will.

The Throat Chakra is associated with the color blue and is located at the throat (center of neck). The Throat Chakra governs communication, self-expression, and fluidity of thought. As the Chakra Balancing continues to move to this stage you may begin to actualize significant spiritual changes. This changes may  prompt you to share these experience and encourage others to seek their higest nature as well. Yet most of the inner experience that are sure to come are better left to oneself. The concern is that others might be subtlety jealous of your spiritual success and send back negativity your way. On the hand if your around others that are confident on the path, then they might lend much needed support. The throat Chakra and it’s communication savvy will guide the way!

Exercise:

The most powerful way to start all sessions is have the proper motivation, which is an altruistic intention. Something like “May this meditation ultimately lead myself and all beings to the awakened state of eternal happiness”, or something similar in your own words. This automatically ignites love and compassion, the highest energy in the universe.

(For those with the chakra  recordings, please listen to selections while visualizing the following).

Begin with parts I and II of the Chakra Balancing Series.  After Chakra Balancing the root, sacral, and solar plexus chakas move your awareness to your heart center. Visualize the world in front of you and feel that all the energy in heart has turned into limitless compassion. Think of all the good that has been given to you, any act of kindness, not matter how small. Think of all the Mothers and Fathers the world over giving so selflessly. Think of all the parents in the animal kingdom as well, routinely sacrificing their own lives for their young. Allow this love and compassion to build in your heart center then release it into the visualized Earth in front of you. You can even send the energy from your heart, down your arms and out your palms, while visualizing a miniature Earth in-between your hands. See all beings as happy, free, and at peace. Feel this love, joy and peace well up within you and hold this for as long as you like.

Then shift your awareness up to the Throat Chakra. See the warm blue light and allow the energy to accumulate. Think of right speech, the power of words and how simple it is to make someone feel good with a simple “Thank You” or “You look nice today”. Think of how of likable others with pleasant speech are and what kind things you can say to others in your life.

To end the session you can ask that by the positive merit of this meditation may all beings be lead to the ultimate awakening of eternal happiness or another blessing that fits you.

The Chakra Balancing Series covers all the Chakras including the Third Eye Chakra (Mental telepathy, clairvoyance, remote-viewing, ability to view auras) and the Crown Chakra (Full omniscience of past, present, and future, enlightenment, Buddhahood, Christ Consciousness, Nirvana, bliss).

Part II: Sacral and Solar Plexus Chakra

Next up is the Sacral and Solar Plexus Chakras. Remember the Root Chakra is responsible for absorbing the earth energies and thus giving life force to the Chakra System. It is wise to continue with your Root Chakras stimulation exercises while balancing the other chakras.

By now you should have familiarized yourself with the Root Chakra exercise and possibly witnessed the warmth it generated. Much more importantly a sense of security, safety and stability should be prevalent. The Law of Attraction is also stimulated by the Root Chakra and you may have noticed things coming your way in an abundant manner.

Regardless to your external sensations, since “energy follows will” you DID bring a greater flow of energy to your Root Chakra simply by the power of visualization. This power of visualization is enhanced exponentially by the depth of meditation. This is why great saints can materialized phenomena so quickly and it is also the reason for the Binaural Beat recordings that put you in a deep state  automatically.

This great energy that has been brought to the Root Chakra is now ready to be drawn upwards to the Sacral Chakra and then the Solar Plexus Chakra. The Sacral Chakra (sometimes called “Sex Chakra”) is located at the sexual organs and is responsible for pleasure (maintaining healthy sexual energy levels), emotional needs, reproduction, enthusiasm, creativity, and vitality. It is the 2nd Chakra and is associated with the color orange.

Next in line is the Solar Plexus Chakra, which is located below the breast and associated with the color yellow. Your entire essence will feel a sense of fulfillment when it is stimulated. Personal power, cheerfulness, spontaneity, relaxation and all matters of growth depend on the Solar Plexus Chakra. Stress is the nemesis of a healthy Solar Plexus Chakra. When we are under stress, congestion develops in the Solar Plexus area and the energy that is on its way up from the Root Chakra is unable to get past it. Unfortunately, the next chakra in line is the Heart Chakra, and when this does not get sufficient energy flow physical repercussions follow, usually in the form of heart attacks. Most energy healers find that in todays society a congested Solar Plexus Chakra and a depleted Heart Chakra are common occurances. This is why meditations like the exercise below are so important.

To begin move your focus back to the Root Chakra and visualize yourself sitting on the earth. The energy of the earth is strong beneath you and you can feel the earth’s pulse. Now visualize the Earth’s energy entering your Root Chakra at the base of the spine and take several breaths while focusing  your attention on this process. After several breaths collecting energy at your Root Chakra shift your awareness to the Sacral Chakra. Again, the Sacral Chakra is located at the sexual organs and is associated with the color orange. Spend several breaths here. Simply by bringing your mental awareness to this area you are drawing vital prana, energy or “chi” into the Sacral Chakra. Spend several minutes “breathing into” the Sacral Chakra.

Now it’s time to repeat this process with the Solar Plexus Chakra, located under the breast at the sternum and associated with the color yellow. Shift your awareness and visualize the color yellow in that area. Feel the increase in energy and the sense of deep relaxation. Since we carry so much stress here you can visualize clarity, water, a vast sky, or a nature scene that comforts you. Feel like its happening “in” the Solar Plexus Chakra. A cleansing and energizing is taking place. Spend several minutes in this state of relaxation. To end the session ask that all beings be happy and free from all suffering.

This is a simple and very effective way to charge and balance the Chakra system by bringing into ones awareness each individual Chakra. As  the Chakras begin to open the pleasant feelings associated with them will engulf the entirety of your being.
